Mobile Command Post

Mobile Command Post Vehicles

We build mobile command posts — rapid-response vans, expandable box bodies, satellite communications and drone ground-control stations — on your chassis, to your specification. Pick the mission configuration below, then talk to us about the build.

Which configuration do you need?

TypeCommon nameKey systemsBuild focus (system-driven)Typical use
Rapid-response van Incident command Command workstation, AV, 4G/5G, radio Light van upfit (chassis flexible) Urban / tactical first response
Expandable command post Mobile command center Expandable body, satcom, multiple workstations Box-body upfit (chassis flexible) Incident command, large-event support
Satellite comms vehicle Beyond-line-of-sight Satcom terminal, mesh radio, power Box-body upfit (chassis flexible) Disaster / remote operations
Drone ground-control Multi-UAV coordination GCS, telemetry, video downlink Van / box upfit (chassis flexible) ISR, mapping, payload delivery

A command vehicle's class is defined by the integrated mission systems (comms, command, drone control), not the chassis. The chassis is selected per order; light vans such as IVECO Daily or rigid/articulated trucks can host any configuration depending on the systems and workspace required.

Deployment

Configurations range from a single-operator incident van to a multi-workstation expandable command post with satellite uplink and drone coordination. We advise the configuration per operating environment rather than defaulting to one answer.

Start your build

Fengqi integrates the command systems onto your chosen chassis, configured per order, with export documentation and destination-market certification. The right starting point is the mission configuration above — then we take it from there.

Frequently asked questions

What is a mobile command post?
A mobile command post is a vehicle that integrates communications, command workstations and situational-awareness systems so an incident commander can coordinate response on scene. The class is defined by the integrated mission systems, not the chassis.
Can a command vehicle have satellite communications?
Yes. Satcom terminals, mesh radio and 4G/5G kits are integrated per requirement for beyond-line-of-sight operations in disaster or remote environments.
Can you integrate a drone ground-control station?
Yes. We build drone ground-control stations with ground-control software, telemetry and video downlink for ISR, mapping and payload delivery, integrated into the vehicle body.
Do you build command vehicles for export?
Yes. We build to specification and support export documentation and destination-market certification, with real commercial invoices at true value.
How long does a custom command vehicle take?
Lead time varies with chassis, body and equipment specification, and with shipping and logistics, which sit outside our direct control. We plan these into the project timeline from the start.
