What types of special vehicles does Fengqi build?

We design and build custom special-purpose vehicles across multiple platforms — ambulances, fire & rescue, communication command, detection & monitoring, mobile medical imaging, shelters & containers, drone support and energy/municipal vehicles. If it carries equipment instead of cargo, we can engineer it.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

A manufacturer. Our 50,000 m² base in Nanjing handles body fabrication, interior fitting and equipment integration in-house. See the equipment showcase lower on this page.

What chassis do you build on?

The chassis you specify — IVECO, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Maxus, Dongfeng and more. We engineer the body and systems around your chosen platform.

What is your typical lead time?

Standard builds deliver in 1–3 months. Deep-customized projects run 4–6 months, including design, conversion and testing at our Nanjing base.

Certification & Export

Are your vehicles certified for export?

Yes. Where required we supply CE marking, and we verify road-legal compliance for your destination market before production starts. Every shipment goes out on a real commercial invoice at true value — we do not under-declare.

Can you source CE/PED-certified equipment?

Yes. Through our Integration & Procurement service we source components with the certification your market requires (CE, PED, ECE) or guide self-declaration where the directive allows.

Which markets do you export to?

Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia, with the GCC as a focus area.

Custom Build & Design

Can you build to our specification?

Always. Every unit is custom-engineered around your chassis, equipment list and target market. See Design Services for how the engineering phase works.

Do you provide drawings and 3D layouts?

Yes — concept layouts in the paid design phase, and full manufacturing drawings after the order is confirmed.

Can you integrate equipment we already own?

Yes. Our Integration & Procurement service handles customer-supplied and sourced equipment alike, mounting and testing it as one system.

Support & Warranty

What warranty do you provide?

The vehicle body and our integration work are warranted by Fengqi. Equipment we source carries the original manufacturer's warranty, which passes through to you — one accountable party, clear boundaries.

Do you supply spare parts?

Yes. Every build ships with a documented bill of materials, and we ship wear parts globally.

How do we get after-sales support?

A special vehicle is a system, not a catalogue item. Before any metal is cut, the layout, subsystems and compliance have to be engineered. We offer this as a defined, chargeable service — so your project is de-risked and our engineering is respected.

Why we charge a design fee. Engineering requires substantial real‑world work. The design fee helps us identify genuine, actionable projects. Should you proceed with production with us, this fee will be credited against your final order.

IP Protection You will receive concept‑level deliverables during the paid design phase. Full manufacturing drawings will be released upon receipt of the order deposit, protecting intellectual property for both parties.
